You know these places are good when the chips are fire. Thick and crispy to go with an extra-fresh salsa. Sopas was the highlight for me - I thought it was just the right amount of each ingredient. The bottled sauces have a solid kick to them so don't go too crazy =]

Amazing hole in the wall that was found via Google. Prices are very inexpensive, potions are plentiful, and the food is delicious and filling. Definitely coming back the next time I'm in town.

Classic breakfast tacos! Homemade flour tortillas and excellent Carne guisada. Great service too. I will be going back

This place gets great reviews, but it didn’t live up to our expectations based on the reviews. You get a basket of about 8 chips and they charge you for extra chips. The cheese enchiladas tasted like they were made with cheese whiz sand not real cheddar cheese. Service was good. Would we go back? Probably not.

This place is amazing. Excellent service, amazing food. A nearby German spot didn't have schnitzel oddly so I ended up getting the chicken milanesa. Probably the best schnitzel type food I've ever eaten. The tortillas are dangerous because they are so good you'll want to keep eating them.Best part is the prices are great and it's just off of the riverwalk so it's not crowded.

First time eating here with my wife and four children (children range from 10yrs-2yrs). They only had one highchair which was on the verge of breaking, men's restroom didn't have hand towels, and only the hot water worked. Waitress spilled salsa on my 3yr old not to mention chips were all burned. Food wasn't anything memorable, and portions were small. When I paid the bill gratuity(I'm fine with that had they informed me/ or had it posted on wall or menu) was included which the waitress didn't disclose to me nor stated on the menu. In doing so I tipped twice. She let me know after charging my card. When I asked about it the other waitress told me it was common knowledge, which I found ridiculous because Texas Roadhouse, Cheesy Jane's, Fidelo's Mexican restaurant all don't include gratuity. Will definitely not be returning!

My favorite Mexican restaurant and only place I get my breakfast tacos. They have amazing sweet tea and their Carne guisada tacos have the best sauce. Everything is home made and the tortillas are hand crafted and rolled. I love this place. Walk away from Yanaguana garden so super close to downtown. The girl at the counter in the mornings is the absolute sweetest.

Breakfast Tacos are very good (Sausage and Egg / Bacon Egg ). The chicken fajita taco with green pepper and onion is really good and well cooked food. The flour tortillas are very good tasting and authentic. The Guisada is good, and not too salty. The Asada is not spicy, which I prefer. The burrito comes with Guisada sauce on it, on a plate setting. The cook uses a large skillet method that serves up hot delicious well seasoned food. It is hot in the to-go bag. My one critique is the salsa..... its okay flavor, but if I were to get picky, I like a thicker consistency to my red and green salsa, especially since I love breakfast tacos. They are near to the public parking area and I would have never guessed it is a hidden gem. The staff is really nice and offers you great suggestions.5 stars.

This a gem. My go to breakfast place when I am in San Antonio and some times lunch when I'm able. The food is delicious service is always great. Fresh made tortilla are the best I've ever had.I'm back at one of the best small restaurants in San Antonio. Give them a try for breakfast or lunch they'll not disappoint.

I have gone here, And normally and they are very punctual. However this go around they took a little bit longer especially at the fact, that it wasn't so busy.I order the Breakfast tacos which are very good by the way. There Salsa the red one was little bit more spicy than normal still good, I must say it will clear up your sinuses and make you sweat. They are located at 425 S. St. Mary's at the corner of S. St. Mary's and E. Nueva by NavarroIf you like that then it is good. I still recommend this place. And still satisfied
