NOLA Brunch & Beignets restaurant reviews:

So I have to say this place exceeded my expectations! I went there with a few of my friends to celebrate our upcoming birthdays and this restaurant will suggested. You most definitely need to get there early in order to get a table and trust me it is worth the wait. They have amazing customer service our waitress was simply amazing, and the food! Literally there are no words! Everything was so good that honestly you did not need the syrup that came along with the pancakes everything had so much flavor! I cannot wait to come back! They do also offer military discount as well!

My visit to NOLA has been delayed due to long weekend waits- HINT HINT: come early on weekdays- but it was worth the wait. I came early on a Friday morning and dealt with no crowd whatsoever. The service was great.I started off with a coffee and beignets- a fantastic combination. It was a hard decision but I ended up ordering the chilaquiles. I was hesitant considering I was ordering a traditionally Mexican dish at a New Orleans inspired restaurant, but the dish worked out well. I 10/10 recommend. A perfect brunch-date spot!

A great place for Breakfast/Lunch/Brunch. The dining room is very spacious and you can even eat outside. Our server was very knowledgeable. I had the Double Decker Tacos which I have to say the Lemon Crema put over the top for me. My fellow guests had the Chicken and Beignets which is a nice twist on the chicken and waffle. I had a taste and must say way better than I expected although a bit too sweet for my taste but still excellent.Would recommend if you're not looking for the standard hotel breakfast.

First I want to say the staff were all so friendly. It really put the cherry on top of a great experience here. The atmosphere is perfect for a beautiful brunch date. The food was delicious! We ordered:Big Easy Biscuit- A big meal and a great choice if you love to eat meat. They do offer meat substitutes upon requestBread Pudding French Toast - Very flavorful with a spongy texturePraline Bacon - Some of the best bacon I've ever had. It's a prefect balance of salty and not too sweet. 10/10Beignets - The regular ones, wonderful. The lemon filled... maybe a little too lemon filled for me. If you love lemon things it might be okay, it explodes lemon filling so beware lolJust a heads up, the only parking available is on the street so it's not always easy to find a spot.

The wait when we went was an hour and thirty minutes. We went to the Japanese Garden not to far from here to kill time. The food was great service was good as well. Beignets were nice. Food was good. No complaints at all. Mimosas were ok.

The waitress was nice! I told her I was lactose intolerant and she recommended the beignet and chicken also mentioning that it was the most popular dish. Well guess what? It was extremely delicious! She also offered mimosas and I'm on my second one, feeling better not too full. I'll bring my lactose pills next time so I can enjoy some of the other yummy items on the menu! (BTW the pics don't do it any justice!)

The beignets are INCREDIBLE!! My friend and I got the mixed plate to share and each beignet was absolutely delicious! The seasonal flavors are unique and so tasty! The green eggs and ham were a hit as well. Also, appreciated that our server split our dish onto two plates since we were sharing a meal. The service was excellent. 12/10 recommend

Food is super delicious; beignets were fresh and hot. Loved my avocado toast and my friend loved his steak and eggs. Wait Staff is super sweet and they packed us cold water to go as well.

RUN, don’t walk to brunch at Nola! They do not take reservations, but opt to text when ready. The service was AMAZING. MJ was our server and she was SERVING with the service! Once you sat, the kitchen was so quick to bring out orders. The food is amazing!Highly recommend to go with friends, on a date, or by yourself! The ambiance is obviously insta worthy, but the service will keep me coming back!

NOLA Brunch & Beignets Ask and answer

Is this place dog friendly?
I would say no; but if you sat on the patio, they may allow you to tie your dog in your view considering it's an old house as a restaurant. Give them a call, though.
Is it BYOB? Can we bring in a bottle of bubbly for mimosas? My new fiance and I are going to check it out tomorrow. I'm so excited to surprise him! He's a Louisiana guy and just moved to SA last Thursday to be with me :) We just got engaged too!
Hi ! Ms. Salinas ! Yes ! We are BYOB at not extra charge , we do sell o.j. And grapefruit juice too . We suggest to arrive before 9:00am After that wait can be a little bit longer .
Is there a waitlist
Hi Frances so there is no waiting list online or calling in. You have to be there in person. When we went we got there about 25 minutes after it opened and there was a wait for about 30 minutes. It didn't even feel that long. But everything there is absolutely amazing and definitely worth the wait. I will say after we were leaving we noticed a lot more people so you want to get there very early for a shorter wait time. Hope that helps
What are the Covid safety practices like here?
Masks required, skipping every other table or lots of space between tables, and I remember there being something different/unique with the silverware
Does this place serve alcohol?
Hello! NOLA serves beer and wine! And awesome mimosa for brunch!

Perfect

I actually come here every weekend, it's true that I can't find a better coffee place than here. Good service, but the coffee is even better. I order a Grande Caffe Americano every time and it is always made to perfection. The price is also suitable. The atmosphere inside is always pleasant and calming, making it a great place to relax and unwind after shopping. It can get pretty crowded during peak hours, but that's to be expected in a popular place like this. Overall, I absolutely love Starbucks San Antonio and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants the perfect coffee taste.
