From Pluckers Wing Bar

"We make wings for people who know the difference: The difference between fresh and frozen; between hand crafted sauce recipes and something squeezed through an industrial tube; between layering on flavor instead of trying to cover it up. We use fresh breading on fresh chicken for a fresh, cooked-to-order meal. If you're fine eating wings out of a cardboard boat, go for it - we think you deserve better. Give our wings a try. We've been developing our craft for over 20 years. If these aren't the best wings you've ever had, let us know, because that's what we're trying to accomplish here at Pluckers."

Pluckers Wing Bar restaurant reviews:

Totally disappointed on a takeout meal last Sunday. I ordered a 10 wing piece meal. When I arrived home I saw I was only given 5 wings. I called the restaurant and they offered to give me another meal and I said I was able to drive all the way back. I requested a refund and they were like ok hold on. Told someone else what had happen and she had said they would refund me and then just hang up without letting me get a word in after. Almost a week has passed and I have not been refunded. That s the main issue for me. Get less food and being charged for more food I never received. They also forgot the complementary celery. I asked for blue cheese and they gave me ranch and paid for the wings to have extra sauce. Last time I go there or get takeout. Horrible customer service. I shouldn't have to check if my food order is correct. Unfortunately I guess I will have to start doing this.

I placed an online order for spicy lemon pepper wings because I didn't see the mango habanero when I went to order although they were on the menu I downloaded. I arrived to pick my order up 30 minutes before I asked for it to be ready only because I wanted to inquire about the mango habanero wings. They said they do offer them so I added a 5pc to my order since the original order still wasn't ready. I was told it'll be 30 minutes for everything to be ready. Twenty five minutes my order was ready. I live less than 5 minutes from the location. I got home and way extremely disappointed. Not only was my food flavorless it was cold & dry. The fries appeared to be the remaining crumbs from the bag/batch. That was my first and last time at Pluckers. I ate exactly 2 wings out of 10 and only the whole Waffle fries. That has got to be the worst $25 I've spent in a long. The attached photo is of the fries I was given BEFORE I even ate any😭😭😭

I’ve been here many times. Mainly because it’s a great place to watch games, have a drink, and enjoy some good wings. I will also add the service is generally good.My issue lies with how loud their audio is. We watched the Warriors vs Celtics NBA Finals game there, and yes of course everyone wants the audio. It was simply too loud. Granted, we were sitting beneath the speakers, but even still, they could’ve turned it down a notch or two. They had the volume at 11 when it easily could’ve been at a 7 or 8 and it would’ve sufficed. We asked for them to turn it down to no avail. We left at halftime because it was just too much.

I love Pluckers and have years of memories there with friends and family. The Addison location is notable for it's terrible parking logistics. Plan on parking in the garage and walking. That's the only reason for 4 stars vs. 5Pluckers has great sauces and when I was in recently they featured "flights" of sauces for your dipping pleasure. We ordered the grilled boneless basket (tenders) "naked" (without sauce) and enjoyed working out way through the variety.

I had never known the true meaning of life until I had walked into Pluckers. I remember the day like the back of my hand. My pastor had just told me that I was going to hell. I couldn't believe it. After years of Vacation Bible School and and years of mission work in Haiti, I still hadn't proved myself. And now Pastor Ronald Donald Thompson says that I'm never going to find God.I didn't know what to do with myself. I didn't know who to turn to. As I walked past the saloon, I saw a newspaper clipping drifting by like the afternoon tumbleweed. I ran over as fast as I could and picked it up. It was an ad for Plucker's. What else could I do but sit down and have some wings to eat. When I walked in, the piano saloon player stopped his tunes and everyone stared at me. I didn't know what else to do but to sit down and order some wings. When I got them, I took one bite and I swear the heavens opened up and I saw the pearly gates. Then I understood. Pastor Ronald Donald Thompson. The newspaper in the wind. The ad for Pluckers. It was all coming together. Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future", and his plan was coming into fruition. I didn't need Pastor Ronald Donald Thompson to guide me after all. Because I found God in these wings.

We come to this location every time we're in the Dallas area. The GM, Daniel, was very friendly and went above and beyond in helping us out with an issue. The food and service here are consistently great every time we come, and it's in a great location for other activities once we're finished eating. Highly recommend.

I love the wings at Pluckers but was disappointed that we had a 2 hour wait only to find that when we were seated,we could see at least 12 tables empty. Why turn customers away/make them wait 2 hours when you have tables? Are you understaffed? We then ordered a massive tray of 50 wings priced on the menu for $67.50. When we got our bill they upcharged another $30... wings were actually $97 and change. We paid the bill as to not cause a scene for our invited guests but these kind of bait and switch practices are not ethical or legal in Texas. You should correct your menu to reflect your extra $30 on items. Nothing was noted in the menus we received. I would like the ownership to contact me about this visit. We kept our receipt. The server was polite and not to blame.

This is the second time we order curbside at this location and both times we experienced mediocre service and cold food. Today, we ordered our food and arrived at the restaurant by the time our order was supposed to be "ready" by, but when we called them they said, "it's not ready, we'll bring it out when it is." 15 minutes passed and still nothing. We called again and some other guy answered and told us our food had been ready... so we got cold food. $50 worth of cold food. We will not be going back to this location.

I wish I could leave 1 star. We have been to this place twice and each time have issues. We order the michelada which is on the menu for $5 and once we get the check it’s charged as $10 because they brought us the big one. The menu doesn’t even show there are two different options and we explicitly told the waiter we wanted the $5 beer. When we asked for the manager, who we saw walking around, nobody came and instead the waiter charged us for 1 of them and the other two were charged as sodas and taken away from the table with more than half of it still left. We even explained to the waiter how the menu doesn’t specify the two sizes but every other drink on the menu does and we had told her many times we wanted the $5 drink. Won’t be coming back here.

After waiting for an hour for our food. Which we had to take in boxes. The strips where not fully cooked. My friends wing had a feather still on it as well. This was my first time eating at this restaurant. I would rate a 0 star. I am very disappointed and grossed out at the same time. I have not even touched my burger at this moment but will post up on it as well if its not fully cooked.
