Love this place! Saw it on a rerun of Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives and had to go see for myself.Loved the options they have for breakfast and lunch. They make-to-order so it takes a little bit of time, but boy is it worth the wait! We had the Unas plate and the Al Pastor plate. Both were excellent, flavorful, and generously portioned. And our full order for two was less than $30 for two large servings. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Delicious, hot & seasoned just right beef Fajita & Egg breakfast taco. Awesomeness in a four tortilla 😋🍳☕️🌮. Two salsas offered. Nice & clean outdoor tables ONLY, plenty of parking, 2 port-a-potties PLUS a hand washing station! It’s busy so best to preorder online.

Maria's Taco Xpress is great - really good tacos, easy online ordering for pickup. The breakfast beef fajita taco is awesome. My only real gripe with this place is the hours - I really wish they didn't close so early in the day. I would get dinner here all the time if they were open!

The food here is so good you could throw a dart at the menu and whatever you get, you’d enjoy. If you’re ever by on a Sunday you owe it to yourself to try the Brisket Taco. However, the food is only 1/2 of the experience. The staff here is as incredibly friendly as they are swift, can’t wait to see where their future takes them. Long live local!

Maria still has it. I returned to taco express after 10 years and even though the establishment and big Maria bust is gone, the tacos are still fantastic. A true highlight of my trip to Austin.

Such amazing people. I wasn’t thinking and forgot to mention that I was gluten sensitive. After receiving the tacos, I realized they were on flour. The team remade the tacos without question. It was my fault, but they fixed it regardless. I’m in awe of their service.

Have been a dozen times, from Dallas to Austin. Every time I go to Austin, this is our must stop! Amazing tacos. The epitome of Austin tacos. Worth the trip, again and again. Recommend the migas breakfast tacos or carne asada tacos. Sad to see them downsize back to their original food truck roots, but that's taxes for you. Still the same great place

I am Mexican and grew up on tacos, I’ve never had a better taco than the breakfast beef fajita! You HAVE to come here

The food here was so delicious. Everything was made fresh to order. Food was ready quickly and people were cleaning the entire time we were there. Great variety of food choices. Lots of personality. There was outdoor seating as well as an upstairs lounge. I would love to visit again the next time I'm in town.
